Patriots Move Into First Place
Patriots Defeat Houston on Weekend Doubleheader

El Paso, TX (June 24, 2009)-The El Paso Patriots defended their home turf this past weekend as they defeated the Houston Leones by a 2-0 victory on Friday and 4-0 win on Saturday night.  Patriot goals were scored by Michael Griego and Rodrigo Morin with 2 goals each, Jonathan Camarena, and Antonio Barrera. 

With these 2 important victories the El Paso Patriots are currently tied in first place with the Austin Aztex U23s with 21 points in the Mid South Division. 

The El Paso Patriots will travel to Midland today to face the West Texas Sockers tomorrow night at 7pm (CT) at Grande Communications Stadium.
